He pointed out that Russia is looking to start trade on a large scale with the United States as soon as the war ends, describing it a “enormous opportunity” for Moscow to create job opportunities and build wealth.
“Its potential is unlimited,” he said. Trump said that Ukraine will benefit economically, especially while rebuilding its cities and infrastructure.
Trump informs world leaders of the new negotiations
After talking to Putin, Trump immediately arrived on the phone with Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelinski, Orrsola von der Lin from the European Commission, Emmanuel Macron from France, Georgia Meloni from Italy, Fredres Mirz from Germany, and Alexander Stop from Finland.
He told them that the talks between Ukraine and Russia will start immediately. He also said that the Pope, on behalf of the Vatican, had expressed interest in hosting negotiations. Trump ended his social publication by advertising, “Let the process begin!”
