- Shardeum has launched a new Hands-on campaign aimed at 10,000 new users through 200+ meetups worldwide.
- Through 200+ meetups across 13 countries, the #MYFIRSTSHM campaign introduces users to use a real-world blockchain through SHM-powered Payfi.
Shardeum is the scaling of a long “proof of community” program with a new Hands-on campaign aimed at onboarding 10,000 new users through 200+ meetups worldwide.
The initiative, which began three years ago, taught more than 28,000 people in 22 countries through more than 500 events.
Unlike conventional crypto marketing, the Shardeum model emphasizes real-world interaction with user acquisition metrics. Each meetup is dedicated to providing participants with the knowledge of the web3 working, from setting up the Dompets to sending micro-paying using SHM, the native token of the network.
The latest phase of the initiative, called #MyFirstShm, introduces newcomers to Payfi-a decentralized alternative to traditional finances-by enabling them to send and receive SHM with sub-central and instant finality fees. In the Shardeum now living in Mainnet, linear scaling and low-cost transaction architecture allows for a seamless peer-to-peer experience, regardless of network load.
“Education is the foundation of significant adoption,” said Shahzad Nathani, head of operations and partnerships with Shardeum. By focusing on human interaction and real-world use cases, we create a model for decentralized adoption that is measured, included, and sustainable. We believe it is important to ensure that the web3 does not remain a niche but becomes truly universal and accessible. “
Each event under the program is supported by a structured curriculum, including metamask wallet setup with Shardeum RPC, testnet token transfers, and live demos involving cases of use such as tipping, decentralized voting, and real-time micro-payments. The hosts receive a complete toolkit – slide deck, tutorial, and analytics templates – to ensure similarity and scalability in the regions.
The campaign is integrated into high -growth markets such as India, Nigeria, Vietnam, Indonesia, Kenya, and the Philippines, as well as developed crypto hubs in Japan, UK, Singapore, and the US. In plans to conduct 10 to 15 meetups monthly, Shardeum targets both crypto-curious beginners and community leaders who can strengthen local adoption efforts.
This educational first approach differs from the speculation that is still common in the web3. Industry experts believe that tangible utility and hands-on exposure are major user trust drivers and long-term blockchain contact.
As the emerging markets become hotbeds for decentralized changes, the low-pay of the shardeum, high-throughput architecture offers a compelling base layer for crypto payments. Its promise to on-ground education reflects a broader move to the adoption driven by the utility, especially in regions where traditional finances are either undoubtedly or exclusively.
