Coinbase and JPMorgan, two giants of this industry.
Coinbase has made a partnership with JP Morgan to enable the purchase of credit cards on its platform and allow Chase customers to earn and recover them for USDC, according to an official announcement.
Coinbase stated that with this partnership, starting with this fall, the bank customers will be able to use Chase Credit cards to make purchases on Coinbase.
Coinbase also stated that customers will be able to exchange Chase Ultimate Rewards for USDC starting in 2026, saying: “For the first time, the points from the main credit card bonuses program will be recovered for encrypted currency bonuses. Chase customers will be able to convert a USDC chase points on Coinbase.”
Coinbase also added that customers will be able to connect their Chase account directly to Coinbase starting in 2026. This will allow Chase customers to link their Coinbase’s bank accounts as a quick and easy way to purchase encrypted currency, as well as all current integration operations.
