In a recent tweet, Ripple Cto David Schwartz has been hinted to what it is believed to be the most useful addition to the LEDGER XRP network: high -quality center with secured openings for Unl Figer, other axes and servers that operate XRPL applications.
This insight comes at a time when Schwartz admits that he personally did not personally run the XRPL infrastructure in recent years, but he now sees a unique opportunity to contribute.
“I have not managed any XRPL infrastructure myself within a few years. Given the network, it seems that the most useful thing will be high -quality with holes reserved for non -reserved resistance, other axes, and servers that serve the applications on XRPL,” Schwartz said.
Share Ripple CTO current plan to publish a server with “AMD 9950x CPU, 256 GB of RAM, 2 TB SSD, 2 x 2 TB NVME SSDS (S/W Raid 0) for Nudb, and 10 GB (non -coherent).” The server will run Ubuntu LTE and be at a data center in New York City.
The server will be run as a production service to increase the operating time and reliability. Schwartz highlighted the initiative as its project, with no formal link to Ripple.
Despite the impressive specifications of the server, the Ripple CTO refers to a defect that appears to be a server preparation: depends on one center. But this is not without reason. Schwartz explained that he wanted to collect data from it to understand the behavior of the network and performance, but no annoying test will be made unless there are very unusual conditions that justify it.
XRP LEDGER offers
Crypto Data Platform Dune recently shared an update on LEDGER XRP’s progress last month.
XRP LEDGER recorded 70 million new transactions last month, up to 3.83 billion. Last week alone, 13.5 million transactions were added, with an average daily transaction of 1.8 million, which is still among the highest chain.
XRPL is developing as a stablecoin global settlement. In July, Braza Bank released $ 4.2 million BBRL, while daily RLUSD transactions increased from about 5,000 to more than 12,000 in one month.
