Shardeum, Dapps.co to Advance Decentralized Social Media Ownership

Shardeum, the Blockchain based on Autoscaling EVM, co-worked on the decentralized social media platform Dapps.co to move ownership and creation away from centralized creatures and returned to the hands of users.

The collaboration reflects a broader web3 shift, where projects further prioritize resistance to censorship, user agency, and community management in the legacy models developed in ad revenue and platform monopoly.

Developing infrastructure for user ownership

Shardeum brings scalability to the table by its dynamic state of sharding and level of consent level, enabling low gas fees and high throughput while reducing computational strain on validators. Its approach lowers barriers for individuals to run nodes, strengthening decentralization as participation increases.

Meanwhile, Dapps.co, is emerging as a SocialFi platform built on web3 principles of transparency, ownership, and reward distribution. The platform aims to empower the creators by allowing them to maintain control of their content, directly make communities directly, and earn crypto-based rewards for contact. By creating the cost of anchoring collective participation, Dapps.co thought a fair digital ecosystem in which expression was not easy to conclude.

Exclusive access to Shardeum users

As part of the collaboration, Shardeum users will receive invitation-early access to DAPPS.co, by avoiding a waiting list of more than 90,000 people. Participants who signed up the Shardeum invitation code immediately get 500 Roar points, the gamified measurement of the platform coherence.

While Roar points are not tokens or guarantees of future value, they work similarly to in-game XP systems, creating paths for tokenization in the future. Dapps.co suggested that, once the adoption scales, these points could serve as the basis for an ERC-20 token that could be trained in exchanges.

Adding additional incentives, users holding at least 10 SHM tokens will open a 3 × boost to reward points for their platform activity, putting the Shardeum community to an advantage as DAPPS.Co expands.

Collaboration is coming as debates intensify around centralized social media platforms that draw non -proportional value from user activity while implementing restriction content policies. Decentralized platforms such as DAPPS.co aim to counter the ever -changing -newness by rewarding true participation and ensuring communities grown through collective models of ownership.

“While others are talking about user ownership and distribution of fair amounts, we deliver it,” said Shahzad Nathani, head of operations and partnerships with Shardeum. “Our community is getting exclusive access to a platform starting to repair how content creators reward and how communities are built.”

Echoing this vision, the Tarusha Mittal, COO of Dapps.co, described the cooperation as a critical step toward a more equally digital future. “Our mission is to empower creators and communities with ownership, significant rewards, and expression that are resistant to censorship,” Mittal said. “By working with the Shardeum early on the Mainnet journey we are aligned to unlock new opportunities and positions on both platforms ahead of the decentralized social economy.”

Shardeum and Dapps.co aim to develop infrastructure for web3-roaring society social contact. Both teams emphasize that the future of online communities does not lie in centralized content moderation or algorithmic ad feed, but in systems where users actually get the value they create.
