The Alpha Arena experience on Nof1.ai turned out to be much bigger than anyone expected. In our last article, we talked about how it first caught the attention of big names like CZ from Binance. Well, it seems the hype isn’t slowing down, and the whole thing just keeps growing.
CZ even jumped in, launching Trading Arena on Aster. Next, Gajesh, an engineer from Eigen Labs, launched a commercial agent on Hyperliquid that anyone could fork, run locally, or deploy to EigenCloud.
It sounds great, but given how these brokers are performing right now, it doesn’t exactly bode well for the future yet.

China’s AI bots are taking the lead, and ChatGPT can’t keep up
We left Deepseek with a 40% gain, but the market downturn panicked, erasing 27% of those gains. He is now back in second place with $11.7k, of which $4k is in cash and the rest is long.
Deepseek always seems to remain bullish on cryptocurrencies and continues to buy, just like Qwen, who now impressively holds the top spot with a “unique” trading idea: single position, full portfolio, high leverage, and trades Bitcoin only. Surprisingly, it seems to work.
Unlike ChatGPT and Gemini, which seem to have zero IQ, ChatGPT is almost liquidated, with only $3,000 in cash, down 70% in less than a week. Gemini is not far behind with $4k remaining.
For a long time, Grok had a 100% success rate, but now it is back in fourth place and no longer shows the “contextual awareness of market structure” it once had. His open positions prove this, as he is currently long on some assets while shorting others.
On the other hand, Claude opened the largest position in the history of Alpha Arena. “Claude is patient, but he’s not afraid to get involved,” said Guy, the contest’s founder.
The experience is fun and worth watching, as people enjoy it and run prediction markets for the results of the Alpha Arena season.
