The MEP of the Argentina has passed several resolutions on the scandalous scales of cryptocurrency failure, the possible connections of which are now also checked to President Javier Milei.
The deputy chamber voted that a special committee for the summoning of government officials and for the request of detailed documentation voted on the collapsed crypto token.
The political gap occurs through investigations
The foundation of a special commission was approved with 128 votes, 93 against and seven abstentions, which underlines the political pressure that surrounds the case.
The legislator also authorized a draft law to call up high -ranking officials from the executive department such as the Minister of Economic Affairs Luis Caputo, the chief of staff Guillermo Francos, the Minister of Justice Mariano Cúneo Libarona and the President of the National Securities Commission Roberto Silva. This resolution was just 131 votes and 96 against the votes.

A third decision in which the executive requested detailed information about the scale token received 135 votes in favor, 84 against and 7 votes.
According to reports, these measures came to a response to growing concerns as to whether the downfall of cryptocurrency was damaged by the financial interests of Argentina.
The legislator splits according to party lines
The parliamentary deputies expressed very different views during the legislative meeting. Pablo Juliano from the Democracy Forever Bloc emphasized the need for a legislative supervision of the situation.
His position was in a strong contrast to Nicolás Mayoraz by President Mileis La Liberad Avanza Party, who warned that the Commission could exceed the judicial authority.
Other legislators took middle positions. Oscar Agost Carreño by Encuentro Federal and Karina Banfi from UCR emphasized the responsibility of the legislator to request political accountability.
Banfi found that investigations are already taking place at national and international level. Maximiliano Ferraro from the Civic Coalition called for the public’s right to transparency on this matter.
Gabriel Bornoroni, La Libertad Avanza Bloc leader, dismissed the opposition’s efforts. He claimed that they only tried to disrupt the progress of the government, which pointed out the fiscal surplus achieved in 2024 and claimed that inflation had steadily decreased under the current administration.
Legal measures aim at the creator of the scales of the scale
The political debate follows serious legal challenges against the creator of the scale -token -creator Haydone Davis. On March 13, the Argentine lawyer Gregorio Dalbon Interpol asked to issue a red announcement for Davis, whose company Kelsier Ventures launched the Libra token in February.
On the basis of reports, the Argentine prosecutors Davis identified as the main character, which is responsible for the collapse of the token, which caused widespread financial losses.
The scandal has now crossed the borders, with Burwick Law, a large legal authority for cryptocurrencies that submitted a lawsuit against Kelsier Ventures and two related platforms: Meteora and KIP Protocol.
The legal action tries to reclaim profits and to make compensation to the investors concerned in the United States.
