At the beginning of April at Mit Bitcoin Expo I was able to sit with Jameson Lopp to discuss the current state and the future of Bitcoin.
Jameson co-founded a house, a Multisig self-authority service, with Jeremy Welch in 2017 after a long period of software engineer at Bitgo, another Multisig service company. It has been involved in the Bitcoin space since 2012 as a software developer and independent researcher.
Lopp is notoriously known for an accident playing in 2017 during the blocking wars, in which someone attempted to have the police storm in his home under the incorrect belief that Jameson kept hostage. After that accident he went completely out of the grid, changing his residence and life habits to ensure that his name is not available anywhere in the public register.
We discussed, very briefly, facing poisoning attacks. After that matter, we had a vast discussion on the current state of Bitcoin’s development and Bitcoin himself as a protocol and project, including what is necessary for his long -term success.
