Building in a Choppy Market

Three years after Mainnet, Aptos still occupies an extraordinary position in the Blockchain ecosystem. It was born from the abandoned Meta balance project with first -class VCS support, entered the market with high expectations and even higher assessments.

APTOS is known as a highly productive and relatively cheap chain, based on the animated programming language to improve safety. However, although its technical capabilities cannot be denied, the project to adopt widely remains less confident in the industry as the gap between technical superiority and actual use appears to be unbroken.

I sat with Ash Pampati, head of the Aptos ecosystem, to discuss how to navigate these challenges, what distinguishes it from competitors, and whether the institutional DNA is a help or an obstacle in today’s market.

Coindsk: I have noticed Aptos developing towards the culture of construction at the base level. What prompted this shift?

Bambati: The most scarce supplier in Web3, along with time, is talented developers. All ecosystems of developers who have great ideas that are motivated to ship against all difficulties.

A community building strategy begins with a basic question: How can we persuade the developer not only to choose APTOS via other chains but to choose Web3 via Web2?

When you do it well, you should be ready to invest in talented and excited people immediately. We have an opinion program but it is effective as we train people through the accelerators, or invest directly from the institution, or connect them to investors who share complementary visions.

Solana faced similar technical promises, but she witnessed that her ecosystem is dominated by Pump.fun, $ Fart and $ Dawg, as well as called her whatever you want. With your institutional approach, does Aptos risk the opposite problem – impressive technology, but not much speculation?

For APTOS, we do not have these luggage, for the better or worse, from the mad coin crazy to add assumptions about our identity. What are the strategic areas that APTOS focuses on now?

We have three basic concentration areas that help us overcome adoption challenges. First, the asset symbol. Our comprehensive thesis is that all the origins of the world will come to the series. We see this rapprochement now with RWAS, institutional interests converging with the original Defi, distinctive cryptocurrencies, and nails. We want to create a network that enables the global trading engine for these assets.

The second field is payments, which enhance the technical advantages of APTOS. We merged the three best stablecoins on Aptos in only three months, as we reached about one billion dollars in the total maximum market.
