The two companies announced the successful launch of the decentralized validator infrastructure of the ping network in Solana Devnet, which positions the project as a scalable and economical safe alternative to traditional bandwidth providers.
The cooperation uses Cambalo’s developmental tools and Jito’s restoration – an emerging mechanism within Solana’s ecosystem that improves economic security by restoring validator owners – to create an NCN that is appropriate for bandwidth distribution. The Ping Network, a decentralized physical infrastructure of the network (DEPIN), decides the sources of global bandwidth by tapping everyone from business data centers to incompetent capacity on personal devices.
While depin networks are usually focused on computes or storage layers, the ping targets bandwidth – a more elusive and complex border with decentralized Internet infrastructure. By integrating with the SDK and automatic Cambrian orchestra system, Ping was able to deploy a validator network capable of managing millions of nodes, cross-validating their data contributions, and distributing rewards in a transparent and efficient way.

The deployment marks a significant milestone in the bandwidth making a programmable, decentralized commodity, revealing greater ambitions within the depin sector to unveil critical infrastructure from centralized gatekeepers. The Ping model includes a decentralized proof-of authority (POA) framework of management, fortified by Jito’s restoration, to ensure that the reward mechanisms are not only economical but also resistant to manipulation.
