Keshav has been writing for many years, first as a hobbyist and then as a freelancer. He has experience working in a variety of niches, including fiction at one point, but the cryptocurrency sector is the one he’s been associated with the longest.
In terms of official educational qualifications, Keshav holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from one of India’s premier institutes, Delhi University (DU). He began his degree with the goal of pursuing a career in physics, but the onset of COVID led to a change in plans. The virus meant that university classes had to be taught online, and with that came free time to explore other passions.
Initially just looking to make some money on beer, Keshav unexpectedly found clients by offering real projects, after which he never looked back. Writing was something he had always enjoyed and being able to do it for a living was like a dream come true.
Keshav completed his physics degree in 2022 and has since focused on his writing career, but that doesn’t mean his passion for physics is over. He eventually plans to return to college to get a master’s degree in the same field, but perhaps only to satiate his interest rather than use it as a means to find work.
Keshav has found blockchain and its concepts fascinating ever since he started going down the rabbit hole in 2020. On-chain analytics in particular has been something he likes to research more, which is why his pieces on NewsBTC tend to involve it in some form.
Having a scientific background, Keshav likes the concepts to be clear and coherent, so he generally explains the indicators he talks about in a bit of detail so that readers may have perhaps understood and learned something new.
As for hobbies, Keshav is a fan of football, anime and video games. He likes football not only as an observer, but also as a player. As far as gaming goes, Keshav generally tends to enjoy single-player adventures, with EA FC (formerly FIFA) being the only online game he’s active in. Although, perhaps due to his extreme focus on the game, today he is a semi-professional on the EA FC scene, regularly participating in tournaments and sometimes even taking back prize money.
Because of his enthusiasm for anime and gaming, he also taught himself Japanese to consume some of the untranslated gems available. The skill didn’t remain just a hobby, as he put it to good use during his exploration for small jobs at the start of COVID, taking on a couple of Japanese-to-English translation jobs.
Keshav is also a huge fitness enthusiast, with training related to agility and acceleration forming an important part of his program given the relevance they have in football. Beyond that, he also has a more traditional strength-based program for the gym, which he does to maintain an overall fitness level of his body.
