According to reports, the lawyer of Solana, Jakey, was known online as @Soljakey, a day with 25 Uber drivers to see whether XRP has really reached everyday bridles.

He asked every driver a simple question: “Do you keep XRP?” The experiment went through what seems to be in Ontario, Canada, and Jakey received every answer to video published on July 20.

Most drivers had either never heard of XRP or told him that they had no crypto at all. Only on the 25th trip he heard a “yes”.

Testing the XRP consciousness for drivers

Jakey’s rehearsal was small, but of course. He jumped on 25 different trips and looked largely empty when he mentioned XRP.

A few drivers asked what XRP was anyway, and some said they had only heard of Bitcoin or Ethereum. None of the first 24 drivers kept a coin. This pattern kept up all day.

A driver is baking the trend

On the number 25, Jakey finally met someone who said he bought the crypto for $ 1.67. It is not clear whether this driver bought when the coin reached 1.67 in mid -201021 or during the rally from November 2024.

What was important to him was useful. He said he planned to keep XRP in the long run because it moves money across borders.

Jakey was a loud skeptic. In December 2024, when the crypto assets were traded with 2 US dollars, he opened a short position and drove his profits to Meme coins in Solana.

XRP then rose to 3.4 US dollars in January 2025, fell back to 2 US dollars and released $ 3.5 from this week.

Based on reports from the Altcoin Community researchers SMQKE, almost 100% of retail investors still don’t know what XRP is, even if it goes through the price documents.

The adoption of retail remains early

SMQKE argues that low awareness shows that the retail interest has not yet taken up. At the same time, the institutions added the old coin softly behind the scenes.

Data in the chains indicates large transmissions that move in containers that belong to the big players. This type of accumulation can increase prices without sums on street level.

What does this mean for the Altcoin

The Uber -Ride test shows a large gap between price performance and public recognition. To ask 25 people is not a scientific survey, but it shows how few everyday users know about XRP.

For a clearer overview of the introduction of retail, you would need more comprehensive surveys, user statistics at the exchange level and a further analysis on chains. Until then, the way of the old coin into the mainstream hands can still be on the starting line.
