The Blockchain Group Buys $69 Million Worth Of Bitcoin

The French technological society completes the acquisition of 624 BTC through a capital increase of € 60.2 million and emission of bonds. The company reports 1,097.6% of BTC performance since the beginning of the year as European companies to accelerate the adoption of the Bitcoin treasure.

The Blockchain group, the first Bitcoin Treasury company in Europe, has acquired 624 bitcoins for about 60.2 million euros ($ 69 million), marking a significant expansion of its Bitcoin participations through a combination of share sales and convertible bonds.

According to a press release issued on June 3, the company listed on Growl Euronext Paris completed the purchase in two tranches: 80 BTC acquired for 7.7 million euros through an increase in capital and 544 BTC for 52.5 million euros through convertible bonds signed by Fulgur Viatures.

The acquisitions bring the total participations of Bitcoin of the company to 1,471 BTC, purchased at an average price of € 89,687 ($ 103,000) for money. The group has achieved a “BTC performance”-making the variation of Bitcoin participations compared to the completely diluted actions 1,097.6% since the beginning of the year.

The purchase was made via Banque Delubac & Cie and Swissquote Bank Europe SA, with the case provided by the Swiss Infrastructure Company Taurus. The company has indicated its intention to acquire another 60 BTC through the emissions of convertible bonds currently by Utxo Management and Moonlight Capital.

The last acquisition of the group was financed through an increase in the capital of 8.6 million euros, with the participation of investors including the Fund of appropriate to Treasury of Tobam ​​Bitcoin and Capital Quadrille, together with an issue of 55.3 million euros convertible bonds to Fulgur Ventures.

The company has recorded a 439 BTC BTC gain since the beginning of the year and a profit of approximately 42.3 million euros, highlighting the growing trend of European companies that diversify the activities of the treasure in Bitcoin.
